Vacancy Description:

As Data Architect/Data Specialist you will work with both business and IT stakeholders to define, develop and maintain our data management program. You will be responsible to suggest and implement data integration tools and practices. The role includes defining and managing enterprise taxonomies and metadata to provide structure for data management.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, previous experience in Data Integration, Data Warehousing and Metadata Management.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear understanding of our business, systems and processes
  • Participate in requirement gathering and design discussions with various stakeholders
  • Create an overall data architecture roadmap and work with the team and business stakeholders to transition to the desired state
  • Identify, propose and implement data integration tools
  • Monitor compliance of our systems and processes to regulatory/compliance guidance 
  • Define, communicate and train stakeholders and team members on architecture standards and guidelines
  • Keep abreast of data architecture best practices, review and suggest improvements to existing systems.

Work Experience :

3+ years of experience in driving data architecture and Master Data Management solutions

Education :

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field

General Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Big Data/Hadoop/NoSQL, visualization and reporting tools, data profiling analysis and transformation
  • Experience with information systems design and implementation of Data Warehouse
  • Strong understanding of activities within primary discipline such as Master Data management (MDM), Metadata Management and Data Governance (DG)
  • Working knowledge of Database Administration
  • Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
