Vacancy Description:

As Projects and Implementation Lead, your role involves liaising with various teams for planning and implementing projects. You will work with stakeholders within the business to define and communicate project goals, scope, schedule and milestones. Your responsibilities include project documentation, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating them to the management and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop a clear understanding of our business, systems and processes
  • Define, improve and manage PMO processes
  • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Discuss and follow-up with development team to finalise a delivery schedule, once requirements are finalised
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Manage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure potential risks to projects are identified and addressed
  • Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and that they meet business requirements
  • Track and review project performance, to analyse whether project goals have been met
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Ensure that teams are complying with defined project processes
  • Suggest and implement best practices in project management.

Job Skills
Technical Skills: Project Management
Work Experience :
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a software development company
  • Exposure to requirements analysis and risk management processes
  • Project Management certification - PMP/ PRINCE2 will be an added advantage
  • Prior experience in team management
  • Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Exposure to certification standards such as CMMI, IEEE or ISO is desirable.

Education :

BE/BCA/BSc/MCA or equivalent
