Vacancy Description:

As Jira and Confluence plugin developer, you will be playing a key role in the design, development, testing, configuration/installation and maintenance of software applications.  You will focus on Jira, Confluence, Java/JavaEE development throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle and must have a good skill set and knowledge of emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Project management /management team to gather requirements.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of essential Atlassian JIRA & Confluence applications.
  • Demonstrate expertise and add valuable input to the application and the underlying technology
  • Help design and implement scalable, lasting technology solutions
  • Test and debug new applications and updates
  • Resolve reported issues and reply to queries in a timely manner
  • Develop and utilize technical change documentation
  • Strive to deploy all products and updates on time
  • Help improves code quality by implementing recommended best practices
  • Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments

JIRA / Confluence Plugin
Work Experience :

Minimum 2+ years experience in software application development primarily in Java with Jira / Confluence Plugin.

Education :

A Technical graduate with any of the following qualifications: BE / BCA /BSc/ MCA or equivalent

General Requirements:
  • Solid working knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies and Significant experience working with SQL and HTML
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence plugin development
  • Experience with database usage and management
  • A good foundation in Linux (Red Hat) or UNIX
  • Experience with software development tools such as the Atlassian tools suit; (Crucible, FishEye, Bamboo, Clover, Jira, Git and or Mercurial)
